OVERVIEW
The Senior Manager of Quality Assurance is a strategic management
role responsible for guiding a team of QA professionals and
ensuring the successful execution of product testing, validation,
and continuous quality improvement. This role sets the direction
for QA operations in alignment with industry standards such as ISO
and CMMI, while maintaining up-to-date job descriptions, role
expectations, and salary structures across the QA function. The
Senior Manager will proactively update QA processes and procedures
to reflect the latest tools, technologies, and operational best
practices. In close collaboration with Technical Support and
Product Line managers, this individual will lead efforts to
identify, track, and resolve product issues-ultimately enhancing
product reliability and customer satisfaction. This position is
ideal for an experienced QA manage with a passion for excellence,
process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration in a
fast-paced, evolving environment.
The Quality Assurance (QA) Senior Manager - Juno Health will:
Quality Assurance Leadership: Will ensure the consistent execution
of QA processes and testing standards across all products. This
role involves aligning QA priorities with Product Line Managers to
coordinate effective issue identification and resolution.
Additionally, the manager will lead the development and
implementation of testing procedures and scripts, as well as
oversee the verification of product functionality both after
initial development and following any modifications.
Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day performance and task
management of the assigned QA staff, identifying staffing needs and
providing recommendations for recruitment and resource allocation.
They will conduct 30-60-90 day reviews as well as annual
performance appraisals for direct reports, while facilitating
mentorship, training, and professional development to ensure the
team remains skilled and effective. Additionally, the manager will
ensure that all staff are equipped with the necessary tools,
software, and resources to perform their duties efficiently.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Product Line
Managers, developers, Technical Support, and other departments to
address issues and drive improvements in product quality. This role
also manages communication with customers for QA support, including
product testing and issue resolution, and leads regular product and
project status meetings with both internal teams and external
clients to maintain transparency and progress.
Reporting & Administrative: Responsible for providing weekly QA
status reports and updates to leadership, ensuring clear visibility
into team progress and challenges. They will also track and report
employee sick and vacation leave requests, review and approve staff
expense reports, and support the preparation of various management
and performance-related reports as requested.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy
requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53.
Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP
training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and
responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties.
Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the
high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training
based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to
modify data and the configuration baseline will require further
training.
5+ years' experience in a capacity where you have clearly
demonstrated mastery of the duties listed.
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance environment managing
and/or testing PC based products in an organized environment
Previous experience in managing personnel
Use of all Microsoft Office Products
Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with other departments and managers within the
workplace
Ability to define and organize a high level of product testing and
verification via delivery of Quality Assurance services.
Ability to sense the importance or impact of issues and situations
and take appropriate actions
Knowledge of Clinical workflows or EHR Software
Desired
Ability to work from an organizational perspective as well as
independently and/or as a contributing team member
Possesses excellent listening skills and a commitment to
communicating in a clear, concise, and timely manner at all
times
Ability to organize time effectively while identifying barriers to
progress, proposing solutions, and setting priorities
Ability to work effectively, while maintaining accuracy and
sensitivity, under tight timelines and schedules
Ability to be independent, self-motivated, proactive,
results-oriented individual
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of work
experience and\or education will be considered
