healthcare team as an Occupational Therapist, where you will play a

tailored treatment plans across diverse settings including
inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing
facilities, and home health environments. Your expertise will help
individuals of all ages— from pediatrics to geriatrics— regain
functional abilities, improve daily living skills, and achieve

patient-centered atmosphere. Duties Conduct comprehensive
evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional
functioning using your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to
identify their needs. Develop and implement customized care plans
targeting activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility,
coordination, and other functional skills. Assist patients with
ADLs such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote
independence at home or in clinical settings. Provide therapy
services across various environments including inpatient hospital
units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient
therapy centers, and home health visits. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, nurses, physical
therapists, and social workers—to coordinate care strategies
tailored to each patient’s condition. Educate patients and their
families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, safety
measures, and injury prevention. Monitor patient progress
regularly; adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, interventions,
progress notes, and care plans in compliance with healthcare
regulations. Stay current with medical imaging reports and medical
terminology relevant to patient diagnoses to inform therapy
approaches. Support occupational health initiatives by promoting
safe work practices for employees in various industries when
applicable. Requirements: Strong knowledge of physiology and
anatomy essential for accurate assessment and effective treatment
planning. Proficiency in medical terminology to communicate clearly
with healthcare teams. Experience assisting with ADLs across
diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
Familiarity with home health care procedures and outpatient clinic
operations. Skilled in developing comprehensive care plans that
address individual patient needs. Ability to work effectively in
inpatient settings such as hospitals or skilled nursing facilities
as well as outpatient environments. Prior experience in acute care
settings is highly desirable for managing complex cases
efficiently. Knowledge of medical imaging reports that support
diagnosis understanding during therapy planning. Experience working
within occupational health programs or clinics is a plus. Excellent
patient care skills combined with compassionate communication to
motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey.
