Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee K-12
school construction projects in the Fort Lauderdale area. This is a
key leadership role with a well-established general contractor,
offering long-term stability, project diversity, and a strong
compensation package. Client Details Our client is a reputable
general contractor with a strong footprint across South Florida,
specializing in public sector projects including educational
facilities, municipal buildings, and community developments. Known
for their commitment to safety, quality, and schedule, they have
built long-standing partnerships with public school districts and
state agencies, delivering high-quality educational spaces for over
two decades. Description Lead all on-site construction activities
for K-12 renovation and new build projects Manage subcontractors,
schedules, site logistics, and job site safety Coordinate with
project managers, architects, and owners to ensure clear
communication and timely issue resolution Ensure strict compliance
with school district building codes and inspection processes
Conduct daily job site walks, enforce safety standards, and
maintain cleanliness Prepare and maintain daily field reports and
manage project documentation Profile The ideal candidate will have
7 years of field experience as a Superintendent in the construction
industry, with a proven track record managing K-12 school projects.
They must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of driving
schedules while upholding safety and quality standards. Strong
communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential,
along with experience working in occupied school environments. Job
